The inaugural Kids’ Biennale invites all children to make art for a good cause, where the windmills they create will help raise funds for a children’s charity.
Windmills made by children aged 6 to 12 will entitle them free entry to the Singapore Biennale 2008. The windmills collected from children all across Singapore will culminate in a community art installation at a Singapore Biennale venue, South Beach Development on 2nd November 2008.
A top prize will be awarded to the school that submits the most number of windmills. Two individual winners will also be selected for the Most Wonderful Windmill prize.
From 2nd November 2008, the public is invited to take home a windmill for a $5 donation towards a children’s charity. Each donation entitles them to a lucky draw coupon where they can stand to win airline tickets worth $4000 from Jet Airways.
